Q: My hours at the shop just got cut from five days a week to three because of the tariffs, and my supervisor mentioned more layoffs could be coming if things don’t turn around soon. My wife and I already stretch my paycheque to cover the mortgage and car payment, so losing two shifts a week is scary enough on its own. My wife stays home to look after the kids because daycare for two is unaffordable for us. I don’t know what we would do if I lost my job entirely. We’re trying not to panic, but I also don’t know where to start. ~Clayton
