Get ready to meet someone new on dating apps. Or rather something new—namely, artificial intelligence (AI).

More and more, AI-centered dating app startups are emerging. At the same time, established dating apps like Hinge, Tinder, Grindr, and Bumble are now pouring tens of millions of dollars into developing and integrating AI into their platforms.

Because much of this is driven by reported fatigue with dating apps, like swipe burnout and competition from options such as human matchmakers, expect AI to change the way that dating apps interact with you.
