NSDC Vice President Rubab Sood, while speaking to News9 Managing Editor Kartikeya Sharma, said that the focus of India’s skilling strategy was shifting from providing employment opportunities to preparing workers for international careers and contributing to the economic needs of destination countries.
Shanghai: India has identified nearly 21 countries where it expects significant demand for skilled Indian workers over the next 10 years, The government is also planning to align training programmes with country-specific workforce requirements.
