Remembering beloved mum, 53, who named her baby after East Anglian village

Nicole Seager was a passionate social worker who was determined to spend her life supporting children and families wherever she was, whether in her native Canada or in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Mrs Seager died in Canada on September 9, having been diagnosed with multiple brain tumours in June. However, her legacy lives on and she will be remembered fondly by colleagues on both sides of the Atlantic for her dedication and tenacity.

Nicole Seager, nee Cail, was born in Kamloops in British Columbia on October 26, 1971. She had a great love for travel and exploring the world.

In 2001 she had the opportunity to come to the UK to pursue her chosen career in social work.........
