The Battle of Karbala was not merely a clash of armies, but a confrontation between truth and falsehood, justice and tyranny, belief and disbelief. Imam Hussain (AS), at the age of 57, sacrificed his everything – his family, companions and children – for the survival of Islamic principles. He suffered more than 320 wounds from lances, swords and arrows, but never surrendered his commitment to truth and faith.

Imam Hussain (AS) did not come for war; rather, he resisted Yazid's oppressive rule. Fearing a challenge to his authority, Yazid sought to eliminate him and consolidate his power.

In the Battle of Karbala, Yazid's massive, well-equipped army of thousands faced only 72 members of Imam Hussain's (AS) small, ill-equipped group, comprised largely of family and loyal followers. Despite being vastly outnumbered, they stood fearless, even including his six-month-old infant. This........
