Lee Vincent had been working on a kitchen and bathroom at the victim's Wymondham property before moving onto projects in the conservatory and garden.

Norwich Crown Court heard Vincent had started work for the woman, understood to be in her 70s, in August 2023 after previously completing jobs for the victim's daughter.

Oliver Haswell, prosecuting, said although the work on the bathroom had been "satisfactory" his conduct became fraudulent from the early part of 2024.

The victim, who has mobility issues, was a full-time carer for her husband who has dementia and Alzheimer's.

By early 2024 the prosecutor said Vincent, 50, had been "pestering" the victim for cash and "wanted more".

Mr Haswell said the victim described feeling like "he was using us more as a bank".

He added: "He would take her to the bank and stand over her while transfers were made at his behest."

The prosecutor said Vincent was "overbearing" making the victim feel "bullied" into giving him cash.

By the time........
