New Delhi: Maserati has revealed the GT2 Stradale in India, priced at Rs 5.72 crore (ex-showroom). Built as a road-legal version of the brand’s GT2 racing machine, the supercar builds on the MC20 platform with several performance-focused modifications. The GT2 Stradale comes with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine. It also weighs 60kg less and features revised suspension, brakes and aerodynamic components. Maserati will manufacture just 914 examples globally, with the production number paying tribute to 1914, the year the Italian manufacturer was established.
The GT2 Stradale joins the recently introduced MCPura, which is essentially an evolution of the MC20. While the MCPura receives styling and interior revisions, it retains the original car’s 630hp Nettuno V6, carbon-fibre chassis and butterfly doors.
