JLR India to bring electric variants of Range Rover and Sport as full imports

JLR has confirmed that the upcoming electric versions of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will come in India during the second half of 2027 as CBU.

New Delhi: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is preparing to introduce the all-electric Range Rover and Range Rover Sport in India in the second half of 2027. Although the ICE of both the SUVs versions are locally assembled, the British manufacturer has decided to import their EV variants initially. The brand plans to evaluate customer demand before making any commitment towards local production.

Range Rover global managing director Martin Limpert confirmed to Autocar India that the manufacturer would first assess how Indian buyers respond to the upcoming electric SUVs. JLR will bring both models via the CBU........
