Rapido launches Ownly food delivery app in Hyderabad after Bengaluru debut

Rapido has expanded its Ownly food delivery platform to Hyderabad after launching it in Bengaluru earlier this year. The service uses a zero-commission model for restaurants and relies on Rapido’s Captain network for deliveries across the city.

Rapido has launched its standalone food delivery app Ownly in Hyderabad, making the city its second market after Bengaluru. The company is entering a food delivery market already dominated by established platforms, with a zero-commission model for restaurants at the centre of its pitch.

Ownly is now available across Hyderabad through its standalone app on iOS and Android, and through the Rapido app. The company says restaurants do not pay commission on orders, with customers charged a delivery fee linked to the cost of completing the order.
