PM Modi to inaugurate SEMICON India 2026 on his 76th birthday, over 600 firms to attend

The three-day semiconductor conference will bring together more than 600 companies and representatives from 52 countries, with discussions on chip manufacturing, investment and technology.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate SEMICON India 2026 in New Delhi on September 17, the day he turns 76. The opening ceremony will begin at around 10 AM at Yashobhoomi, where Modi is scheduled to address industry representatives, investors and policymakers. The three-day semiconductor conference will run until September 19.
