Pak Army to Support Kuwaiti Forces in Multiple Fields

The delegation also included the Chief of General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khalid Daraj Saad Al-Sharian, and it was a moment of great diplomatic and military significance when the Kuwaiti delegation met Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir during their stay in Pakistan.

The agreement provides a comprehensive framework for cooperation covering training, capacity building, border management, and other mutually agreed areas of defence. As Kuwait works to modernize and upgrade its military capabilities in response to a changing security environment, Pakistan Army training will provide demanding instruction designed to develop skills required for modern military operations. Areas of training include infantry tactics, artillery operations, armoured warfare, aviation, special operations, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and reconnaissance, building on Pakistan’s experience and reputation for training foreign military personnel to operate effectively under difficult conditions. The cooperation is intended to strengthen Kuwait’s military capabilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Capacity building will focus on strengthening Kuwait’s military institutions, including logistics, procurement, maintenance and repair, and command-and-control systems, with the objective of creating a technologically capable, organizationally strong, cohesive, efficient, and sustainable force. Pakistan will also share its experience in border management, particularly expertise gained from securing challenging borders, including surveillance technologies, patrol tactics, and intelligence-sharing mechanisms to help prevent cross-border infiltration and........
