‘House of Guinness’ to open for one day
Elveden Hall near Thetford will be opening its doors for a Stories of Guinness culture festival on Saturday, June 13.
Visitors will be able to see its stunning Marble Hall - which has featured in a number of films including Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut in 1999 - as well as hearing from the Guinness family heir.

EA Festival - one of the East of England’s leading ideas and literary festivals - has organised the one-day cultural festival which is inspired by the history of the Guinness family.
It will include a programme of talks, music, art and tours and will explore the enduring resonance of dynastic history in the modern world.

The festival was inspired by the present earl Arthur Guinness's book about the early history of the Guinness family which was published in 2025.
