Anger over HMO plans for Art Deco office block despite calls to curb town's numbers
West Norfolk Council has green lit proposals to convert the Art Deco-fronted property on St James Street in King's Lynn into two six-bedroom flats, along with a further one-bed apartment.
It comes despite strong objections from King's Lynn Civic Society, which branded the development "a commercial building for use as one flat and an HMO for 12 people by any other name".
