Ro Khanna is wrong about the chaos in Europe — and about JD Vance

To paraphrase the tagline from an old horror movie, if the organized far-left anarchy that just terrified Paris and much of Europe didn’t make your skin crawl, then it’s on too tight. Protests that started in France last week saw thousands of businesses looted and burned to the ground as the anarchists danced on the ashes.

As the shocking arson, looting and brutal violence against working-class police officers was taking place, wealthy Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) seemed to virtual signal to the anarchists and the far left here in the U.S., while taking a very calculated rhetorical shot at Vice President JD Vance.

Khanna posted on X: “From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: In an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in. …@JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south. He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment. This is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few.”

Are they students, Congressman Khanna? Or paid anarchists and thugs?

It is quite sad (and quite telling) to see the California lawmaker lecturing Vance for “misreading the moment” while criticizing nations that “let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few.” Pardon me, but isn’t Khanna one of........
