Democrats Neutered By Trump-Hating Base Can’t Even Bring Themselves To Praise World Cup Success

Democrats are so whipped by their Trump-hating base that they cannot even offer a modicum of praise for the success of this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament.

In an article headlined, “Democrats grapple uncomfortably with World Cup success,” Politico noted Thursday that prominent Democrats, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, have yet to “articulate anything that sounds like praise” for the U.S. and local authorities who have made the World Cup a success so far.
