A man was found shot to death inside the IHOP restaurant on Klose Way in Richmond, Calif. 

The person of interest in a shocking daytime killing inside a Bay Area IHOP is in the hospital in critical condition, police said. 

At around 1:45 p.m. Monday, police officers in Richmond responded to reports of an injured person at the IHOP on the 3400 block of Klose Way. IHOP employees called 911 initially believing the man had suffered an accidental head injury, but the wounds “did not appear to be accidental,” Richmond police said. The man, who has not been identified, died at the scene of at least one gunshot........
