The obituary in The Guardian on July 14 gave a vivid description of Cathy Hennessey’s life, her contribution and of her wide circle friends from all walks of life.

For her to be remembered by Charlottetown society for her dedication, a suitable memorial would be fitting, and perhaps ideas for such are already in the works.

If I may: One wonderful suggestion has been brought to the attention of city council.

However, co-ordination and funding efforts would be so much more meaningful, were it initiated and brought to fruition by her dear friends and all the people who are enjoying a city so much more attractive for the mark she has left on it.
