A trip to Cannes is always a good idea, but visiting this glamorous little spot on the French Riviera becomes especially enticing as the days grow longer and the temperatures climb higher. Every summer, jet-setters descend upon the idyllic beach destination, located about a 45-minute drive from the Nice airport, but the unofficial start to the season is in May, coinciding with the Cannes Film Festival.
