Tim Day, who leads the two-strong Reform group at City Hall, wants Norwich City Council to "urgently write to the Home Office to demand the inclusion of Norwich and Norfolk within the scope of its national inquiry into grooming and rape gangs to ensure no stone is left unturned".

The motion comes as eight men await trial after pleading not guilty to rape and child sex offences.
