Buying a home? TRAI now lets you check its mobile and Wi-Fi connectivity

TRAI has launched a new platform that lets consumers check the digital connectivity rating of homes, offices and other properties. The system covers fibre readiness, mobile network availability and Wi-Fi infrastructure, with certificates available for public verification.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has launched a new Digital Connectivity Rating Platform that will let consumers check how well a property is prepared for mobile networks, fibre and Wi-Fi before they buy or rent it. The platform went live on September 25 and is part of TRAI’s framework for rating digital connectivity inside buildings.
