Mayor Mamdani’s wife Rama Duwaji’s meager attempt to distance herself from evil posts doesn’t go far enough
You can’t delete evil.
With a few clicks of a mouse, New York City’s First Lady Rama Duwaji Mamdani is attempting to distance herself from when she celebrated murder, denied the existence of gang rape and torture and revered butchers of human beings — all because these atrocities were committed against Jews.
After her old social-media posts were unearthed — in which Mayor Mamdani’s wife defended the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks on Israel and trashed American troops — she deleted her X and Tumblr accounts.
But these aren’t messages made by a teenager.
And while Mamdani may call his wife a “private person,” it certainly seems like she’s helping to craft policy — and that he shares her radical antisemitism.

A case in point is Mrs. Mamdani’s “like” accusing The New York Times of propagating a “mass hoax” claiming sexual assault was used as a weapon of war by Hamas fiends against the Jewish people.Hailed hijacker
“How Hamas Weaponized Sexual Violence on Oct. 7” reads a headline over a Times investigation of these dastardly crimes, published March 25, 2024, not quite two years ago, when Duwaji was 26.
The article details how rape was used by terrorists in a campaign of attempted genocide against Jews in Israel.
But in Mamdani World, the “g” word can only be leveled to libel Jews they falsely claim are trying to ethnically cleanse Muslims.
Shocking posts to X she penned under the handle @RamaDee go back to 2015, when she raged that Tel Aviv “shouldn’t exist in the first place” and calling its residents “occupiers.”
On Tumblr, she hailed Palestinian plane hijacker Leila Khaled and fellow terrorists of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, while reposting a tirade accusing United States soldiers of “mercilessly slaughtering 3rd world civilians” to maintain “American hegemony.”
A December 2015 repost insanely blamed white people for the creation of al Qaeda.
Zohran Mamdani defended his spouse’s continued unhinged bleatings as those unleashed by someone who had no official role in his campaign and bears none in his administration.
Yet the far-left socialist mayor’s association with terrorist sympathizers and his continued insistence on spreading hateful anti-Israel and anti-Jewish propaganda demonstrates that Hizzoner and Hiz wife are very much a package deal.
Earlier this month, the mayor proudly posted to Instagram a photo of the city’s first couple hosting anti-Israel protestor Khalil Mahmoud at Gracie Mansion.
The image, shot at one of New York City’s most prominent civic institutions, was jarring.
It conferred legitimacy to a former Columbia University graduate student who leads a movement in which Jewish students at the Ivy League school are threatened and physically assaulted on campus.
These are hate crimes, not mere free speech.
Yet to Mamdani, Khalil’s year “has been marked by profound hardship — and by profound courage,” he wrote on the post.
The first lady of New York’s miserable fealty to violent antisemites goes hand-in-glove with that of the man elected to represent the people of the biggest and greatest American city containing the world’s biggest Jewish population outside of Israel.
If Mamdani wants to be mayor for all New Yorkers, and his wife the first lady for all New Yorkers, it will take more than deleting two social-media accounts.
It will take an apology, and honesty.
