Multi-agency action has seen a closure order granted for the business in a seaside town centre.

Ongoing concerns relating to "unlawful" activities connected with Euro Mini Market, located at 175 London Road North in Lowestoft, have been raised for nearly three years.

Now, after a joint investigation led by East Suffolk Council with support from Suffolk Trading Standards, Suffolk Police and Public Health Suffolk, extensive work saw the council obtain a closure order last week.

The closure order - which prevents access to the premises and is intended to stop the activities that have caused nuisance and harm to the community - was issued last Thursday, September 17 at Norwich Magistrates’ Court.
