The Stanford Arms in Lowestoft had its licence suspended in July after an incident involving its premises licence holder, leading to a review by East Suffolk Council’s licensing sub-committee.

Concerns were raised by police about crime and disorder, prompting the council to revoke landlord Benjamin Witton’s licence on August 19.
