Gediminas Jankauskas, 35, of Savory Road, Wisbech, was sentenced to three years and five months in prison at Huntingdon Law Courts on July 15, after admitting two counts of threats to kill and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.

His abuse began in 2023 and grew increasingly violent and controlling.

He demanded to know his partner’s whereabouts, forced her to video call him to see who she was with, and subjected her to regular verbal and physical abuse, including slapping and punching.

Jankauskas also once threatened to stab her with a pair of scissors.

The victim became so fearful that she gradually cut off........
