Acoustic consultants called in as village's padel courts bid withdrawn for rethink
Heacham Parish Council objected to proposals by leisure operator Searles for the site in the village near Hunstanton.
The plans included four courts and would have been open from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, along with a new bar and clubhouse.
It said the possible effects of noise and nuisance, including lighting from the scheme at Heacham Manor had not been established.
A council community safety officer said she had requested a noise assessment because there was "a high potential for adverse noise impacts".
She questioned whether the courts could be built........
