Canadian asset owners more likely to find issues, decrease allocations in U.S. market: survey
Three-quarters (74 per cent) of Canadian asset owners see the current U.S. administration as a material issue for investment strategies, compared to 56 per cent of global investors, according to a new survey by Morningstar Inc.
The survey, which polled more than 500 asset owners across 11 countries with more than $20 trillion in combined assets under management, found Canadian institutional investors (32 per cent) were also more likely to have decreased allocations to the U.S. in the past 12 months, compared to 24 per cent of all investors.
