Re: Windsor Public Library spends $100K per year to lease downtown space in building city sold: board chair (Jan. 12)
I can’t believe I’m still reading about a discussion regarding a change of site for the central branch of the Windsor Public Library. I know someone who has lived in Windsor for over 20 years who didn’t even know where this branch was.
The central library should be in an attractive, visible and accessible location, not hidden away in the back of a building meant to be something else. The former Ontario Travel Information Centre would hopefully be such a location with possible space for archives and programming space, etc.
But why the endless delays in making this happen?
