Toyota recalls more than 43K Tundra trucks due to engine concerns

(NewsNation) — Toyota is recalling more than 43,000 of its Tundra trucks due to an engine issue that can result in loss of drive power, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The recall applies to certain 2024 Toyota Tundra trucks equipped with a V35A engine because debris “from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause a main bearing to fail, which can result in an engine stall and loss of drive power,” NHTSA wrote.
