Trump teases attending NY Knicks NBA finals game at Madison Square Garden

President Trump on Wednesday teased taking a trip to New York to see the Knicks play in the NBA finals next week at Madison Square Garden.

Trump told reporters at a Cabinet meeting at the White House that he was planning on going to a game this week, but then the team secured a championship spot more quickly than anticipated.

“I think I’ll be going to one of the games,” Trump said.

“I was going to go on Wednesday, but they closed it out very quickly,” he said, adding that he had been invited by James Dolan to attend a game.
