(KTLA) — Dozens of people ransacked a Bellflower, Calif., business early Saturday while a massive street takeover clogged a nearby intersection, authorities said.

Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department‘s Lakewood Station responded around 3:30 a.m. Aug. 15 after a caller reported seeing 20 to 30 people breaking into a business.

When deputies arrived, they encountered what appeared to be a street takeover at the intersection of Bellflower and Somerset boulevards, according to sheriff’s officials.

Authorities estimated that 100 to 150 vehicles were stopped in the roadway and intersection, blocking access to the business.
