I’d hate to see Vita leave Tampa, but business is business.

Defensive tackle Vita Vea, a two-time Pro Bowler for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has requested a trade from the franchise following contract negotiations stalling, according to Vea’s agent Collin Roberts who spoke Monday with ESPN. Vea was seeking an extension.

During the Bucs’ mandatory minicamp in June, Vea was a hold-in due to the situation surrounding his contract.........
