LaRussell, the Vallejo rapper whose backyard concerts attract fans from thousands of miles away, will play a major Super Bowl show. On Wednesday morning, the NFL announced that the rapper would open Super Bowl 60’s Tailgate Concert, which is scheduled to take place before Sunday’s game. Teddy Swims, the R&B singer behind “Lose Control,” is set to headline.

The concert will be livestreamed on Peacock at 12:50 p.m. LaRussell will also “play as the in-stadium house band on game day,” according the NFL’s news........
