John Hinds, a veteran of the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards and landlord of the Boundary pub, is teaming up with Karl Smith, a veteran of the Royal Logistic Corps, for the epic 30-hour 'bergen' march.

As part of the brutal challenge the pair will march 64.5 miles from the Boundary pub in Hellesdon to the Gate pub in Caister, near Great Yarmouth.

They will each be carrying a 60lb military bergen on their backs - the equivalent of 60 pints of........
