Chloe Smith, who was Conservative MP for Norwich North from 2009 to 2024, has joined the London-based company LaunchLemonade.

LaunchLemonade announced that the former MP will advise its founders Cien Solon and Joe Leung on strategy and partnerships at the company, which works with businesses to make specialised use of AI.

The company was named by magazine Entrepreneur UK as one of its 2026 Top 100 Startups to Watch.

Ms Smith stepped down from politics after deciding not to seek re-election at the 2024 general election.
