Jeremy Clarkson parting ways with three of his most popular Grand Tour Cars
Jeremy Clarkson is auctioning three cars he used in The Grand Tour. This includes the 1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider which featured in the final show featuring Clarkson alongside Richard Hammond and James May.
New Delhi: Jeremy Clarkson is putting three cars from The Grand Tour up for auction. The collection includes the Lancia Montecarlo Spider he drove during the final episode featuring the original trio. The three cars will be sold by Iconic Auctioneers as part of The Iconic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show in Birmingham, UK, on November 14 and 15. None of the cars carries a reserve price, which means they will be sold to the highest bidder.
Clarkson has noted that he no longer gets enough opportunities to use or enjoy the cars, prompting him to part with them. However, the auction house has hinted that there is another reason for the sale, which is expected to become apparent during an upcoming season of Clarkson’s Farm.
