The Centre has launched a new Livestock Insurance Portal to help farmers protect their animals against financial losses. Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Rajiv Ranjan Singh, popularly known as Lalan Singh, launched the digital platform under the National Livestock Mission (NLM). The portal aims to make livestock insurance easier to access and manage across India.
