New Delhi: Former CBI Director M Nageshwar Rao has entered active politics, taking charge as the National President of the Sarvajana Sanatan Party (SSP) in Varanasi on Saturday. Rao announced his new political role from Kashi after nearly four decades of service in security, law and order and administration.
According to an ANI report, Rao said his experience in public administration had convinced him that India’s reconstruction could not be achieved through administrative reforms alone. He said the country needed modern development while remaining connected to its civilisational roots.
