New Delhi: India head coach Gautam Gambhir hit back at critics and backed his players to bounce back after the team’s recent poor results in T20Is, insisting a few bad performances do not undermine the ability of a double-T20 World Cup-winning team.

Gambhir’s comments came ahead of India’s upcoming ODI series against West Indies at home, which gets underway on September 27. Asked about the dip in India’s recent performances in T20Is, Gambhir said one bad series or a few bad games don’t make his team a bad side.
