Can Britain any more terror-friendly?

The latest low: UK authorities let five accused terrorists out on bail Monday, after they’d gotten just a few hundred yards from a base that hosts US bombers involved in striking Iran.

They’d likely have gotten closer, too, if not for the farmer who spotted them — even though Tehran has made specific threats of consequences for Britain if it keeps letting American warplanes stage from its bases.

The farmer also says said she’s previously complained about poor security around the base, her first calls about the intruders to the Defense Ministry went unanswered and the slow response likely allowed some to escape.
