Eye on hate: Dems Now the Chief Antisemites

“If I’d told you in 2015 that the focal point of antisemitic sentiment in the U.S. in 2026 would be inside the Democratic Party, you would have thought I was insane,” posits John Podhoretz at The Free Press. Back then, it was the right attacking Jewish conservatives, unleashing a variety of antisemitic attacks. Trump has a “fingertip feel for what the people who love him want to hear from him,” and “Republicans overall remain overwhelmingly supportive of Israel and sympathetic to Jewish concerns,” so “the philosemitic, pro-Israel path of Trump II is the result of a dynamic interplay between the president and his base” — his real base, not the cranks now “talking about starting a third party.”
