Donald Trump has again criticised Nato over its continued refusal to participate in the ongoing US war on Iran and “help” America seize control of the Strait of Hormuz.

The western military alliance has been a frequent target for the US president, who reiterated his complaints during a speech in Dublin, in which he also criticised America’s European allies.
