Gerald Randle has officially called time on more than three decades at Beccles Friday Market, marking the end of an era for one of its longest-serving and most recognisable faces.

The 76-year-old has remained a regular fixture whatever the weather and, reflecting on his time behind the stall, said the market had changed a lot since he first started trading.
