Man jailed for assaulting four-week-old son among gang that stole £100k of cable
Earnest Oakley, 32, of Swanton Road, Norwich, was sentenced to four years and 10 months in prison after admitting to six counts of theft.
He was also sentenced on the same day for an unrelated assault on his 26-day-old son, bringing his total sentence to six years, with both terms to be served consecutively.

Oakley was one of three men jailed for stealing more than £100,000 worth of telecommunications cable.
Henry Harbour, 30, of Meadow Lane, Runwell, Essex, was also jailed for four years 10 months after admitting to six counts of theft.
