Lowestoft-based developer Dovedale Homes Ltd wants permission from Great Yarmouth Borough Council to build the houses on land off Butt Lane in Burgh Castle.

The scheme would involve the demolition of a bungalow to create an access road to a development of 10 homes behind existing properties on Butt Lane.

However, council planning officers have recommended that members of the authority's development management committee refuse the application when it meets on October 7.
