The new woodland has been created on farmland near Wiggenhall St Germans, in the west of the county, near King's Lynn.

The 40-acre Wiggenhall Woods has been created by Norfolk County Council, with help from the community, on land owned by the authority.

The project contributes to the council's long-held ambition to plant a million trees.
