Hunstanton Town Council has been given planning permission to extend and improve the centre on the resort's Avenue Road.

The existing building, a single-storey structure dating back to the 1960s, was described as being in need of “significant attention”, particularly to its felt roof, while facing "challenges related to accessibility, safety and functionality".
