The short film competition, organised by Humber Marine & Renewables (HM&R), invited students from Hull to create videos highlighting career opportunities in the sector.

Sam Hunt, a Wyke College student, claimed first prize, earning £250 in Amazon vouchers.

"It was quite a long process, but I stuck with it and I'm very proud of myself," said Sam.

"I'm debating career options within the media industry, but planning this project has given me an insight into renewables, and there are roles suited to that there too."
