Now we've got our breath back from what proved to be a super Saturday courtesy of Newcastle United, it's time to reflect on the new stadium debate once again.
For months now the talk has been that Newcastle chiefs will present two options for the St James' Park project that will transform the club's image and help get more fans through the turnstiles. One is a capacity closer to 60,000 with a revamped St James' allowing the Magpies to remain where they are.
The second is to move a new stadium not too far away from the current home of the black and whites that will fit in around 70,000 supporters and bring Newcastle in line with some of their Premier League rivals. The question after Saturday's events, which saw 150,000 line the streets then 150,000 more head to the Town Moor to watch Newcastle lift the Carabao Cup, has to be: Are either of........
