Everyone saying the same thing about mystery plan for new Birmingham tunnel

Tom Wagner, the chairman of Birmingham City FC, has unveiled an ambitious vision to construct an underground tunnel linking New Street station with the club's proposed new stadium in Bordesley Green. This bold move is a key element of his 'dream' to establish a £3 billion sports hub in the economically challenged East Birmingham. Birmingham Live readers can't really see the point of the project as it would be costly and there is already an existing station.

The US hedge fund mogul, who shares ownership of the club with NFL icon Tom Brady, disclosed the scheme during a summit organised by Insider Media in the West Midlands. He emphasised the need for local endorsement of his plan, to avoid it being dismissed as a whim of 'the crazy American'.
