The Ontario Pension Board is supporting its LGBTQ2S employees and the wider community through several initiatives during Pride Month, including marching in next weekend’s Toronto’s Pride Parade.

“We encourage participation [because] it’s about visibility, allyship and celebrating diversity in the workplace,” says Michael Lockhart, director of external communications and digital strategy and one of the organizers of the OPB’s 2026 Pride initiatives. “We’re representing our members and we’ve actually seen quite a number of our different participating employers along the [parade route].”
